Tampa, FL– This week Team Pelfrey travels to Watkins Glen International for the fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds of the Formula Race Promotions F1600 Championship.
The team will be competing at The Glen with a plethora of young talent. While Dexter Czuba and Josh Green have already claimed a victory this season, Ayrton Ori is eager for the top step of the Podium this weekend.
The trio have been preparing for the upcoming challenge with one of the Team’s driver coaches, Tyler O’Connor, who also won an F1600 race at VIR earlier this year. "I am looking forward to working with Team Pelfrey at Watkins Glen” O’Connor said. “I know we have three fast cars, and three quick drivers who are eager to fight for wins and podiums.”
Dexter Czuba #81 “I believe that I have a very good chance at getting one, two, or even three podiums at Watkins Glen, especially since I will have two other great teammates to work with there.”
Josh Green #80 “Really looking forward to the upcoming weekend! We’ve been doing a lot of pre-race prep on iracing and have been having lots of fun with all of the team. That being said, Team Pelfrey has the car to win races and we’re looking to get the best results possible in my second race weekend."
Ayrton Ori #27 “After some tough luck in Atlanta our season really begins with round 2 at Watkins Glen. I’ve never driven the track, but I love the village there and I’ve done hundreds, maybe thousands of laps of the Glen on the simulator, so I’m as ready as it’s possible to be. I know the competition, I know where we stand, and we’re expecting to come away from the weekend with great results."
