Lexington, OH-- This weekend Team Pelfrey will participate in rounds 7, 8, and 9 of the Formula Race Promotions F1600 Championship Series at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. While fresh from a stellar, record-breaking weekend at Watkins Glen International, the Team and drivers have BIG expectations!
Robert MeGennis, Driver Coach, Indy Lights Driver, and former Team Pelfrey Super Star: "I'm really excited to coach the Team Pelfrey F1600 squad this weekend! I started my car racing career with this group, and I'm excited to merge my Road to Indy and F1600 experience to help the guys win some more races!"
Dexter Czuba: “After a great weekend at Watkins Glen, I hope to give Team Pelfrey one or more wins at Mid-Ohio. I feel confident in this goal as I have always felt very comfortable at this track, and since it requires less drafting, it is a bit more familiar to my days in karting.”
Josh Green: "Super excited to get after it in Mid Ohio! The Championship is close and the track looks like a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what me and Team Pelfrey can accomplish at a track that has brought them much success in the past. Let’s get it!"
Ayrton Ori: “I’m really excited because Mid-Ohio is one of America’s great road courses, and as we get closer to the midpoint of the season I’m looking forward getting some consistent results throughout the weekend and challenging for wins in the #SprayNineTough machine.”
